MANLY ANTIQUE CENTRE
Huge Australian cedar and leadlight Bank doors and surrounds
from a bank in Warrnambool in Victoria in the 1860s.
The doors only measure 68cm x 220cm each.
The overall measurements with the surrounds or door jamb is
227cm wide by approx. 280cm to the top of the turned finials.
If you are renovating or building and want to make a statement
to your entrance way or an interior section of your house
these are the Big Boys for you!
I serious doubt if you could get a boring, new, plain set of doors this size
in Western Red Cedar for this price let alone a hand built set of doors with
a history dating back 150 years, embellished with hand made leadlight panelling
set in huge thick pieces of our famed Australian Cedar (Toonis Australis)
which is pretty much unattainable now
(as far as we are aware its illegal to cut these trees down or even to
harvest already fallen dead cedar trees on your own property without permission).
