HAND COLOURED PRINT
OF SYDNEY IN 1862

A fascinating view of how Sydney looked in 1862.
It is hand coloured and framed under glass
Under the print is a hand written title
'General View of Sydney, NSW'

The frame is antique and quite possibly the original.
It's a little scruffy but a buff up with some coloured
wax would do it the world of good if so inclined.
The glass is dirty on the inside and the print has some foxing
and has deteriorated around the edge in a few places
so condition is not 'as new' but it isn't too bad either.
The backing paper has gone so it will be super easy to take
the tacks out, remove the print and clean the glass on the inside.
The dirty patches appear to be all on the glass but I can't say for
certain and it's possible the matting needs replacing as well.
Either way it will look infinitely better than it does now and would be a
quick, cost free exercise (if the matting doesn't need to be replaced).

The frame measures 56cm x 44cm and the print is 33.5cm x 18.5cm not
including the underneath title.
