MANLY ANTIQUE CENTRE
This listing is for an unusual lamp with a yellow glass font that fades down
in colour intensity from the top to the base.
The font is also embossed with bird and foliage designs which adds
a little extra pizazz to an already beautiful item.
The foot is brass and the whole thing is mounted on a shiny black glass base.
The round star-engraved shade appears to be original.
It's a Duplex brand with the upmarket double burner control as can be seen in photos.
It seems to be all original and in working order once filled with oil or kero.
The only 'damage' is tiny weeny little chips around the base of the round star shade
totolly consistent with over a century of use. No other problems to report.
It stands 58cm tall to the top of the flue and about 18cm across the base.
