EDWARDIAN CHAISE DAY BED WITH STORAGE

We haven't had one of these for many a long year.
A fully upholstered chaise, day bed, fainting couch that you can
store things in by lifting up the bed section.
A faint photocopy of a hand written description came with it
declaring it was upholstered by C Punch for Fry Bros 4th August 1919.
Haven't heard of Fry Bros myself so I can't shed any more light on this.

The upholstery currently on it is not the upholstery from 1919 but
done in recent times by the looks as it is in very good condition.
I couldn't say perfect but there is little if any shading differences
in the fabric and no stains or tears that I have found.
The only mark I can see is a small one on the top of the curve section of the
head rest that you might be able to see in the photos.
It looks like someone has brushed passed it with a handbag perhaps and left a small mark.
It is not large or obvious and it may well clean out, we haven't tried as I've only just seen it.
The large inside storage area has also been lined with a suede like fabric
that tones with the outer patterned upholstery.
Its all been beautifully done and would have cost a lot of money.

It measures approx. 188cm long, 58cm wide and 76cm high.
