MANLY ANTIQUE CENTRE
This lovely set of 6 matching Victorian balloon-back chairs date
to the 1870s era.
We purchased them as a set of 8 but realised (after quite a long time really)
that two of them are slightly different so we have separated them from the pair
and are selling them as a set of six dining chairs and they should be.
The last three photos show the different chairs together so you can see just how
similar they are so if you do need a set of 8 these 6 + 2 will do the job nicely.
They are in very good order with only general signs of usage as to be expected.
If you are interested in all 8 we can make the price a bit more attractive for you.
We haven't detailed them either so a bit of oil will do wonders.
The upholstery is a peachy pink velvet that is quite neutral really and
is in good condition - a little 'tired' but no damage or major marks.
They are mahogany so are heavy and sturdy in comparison to their cedar cousins.
We have matched them with our gorgeous cedar farmhouse table and the two chairs
at the ends are the similar pair.
They would also look fabulous in a modern interior with a modern table with the
softness of the carving in the backs offsetting the sharp lines of a modern interior.
