AUSTRALIAN MADE
1960s DANISH STYLE DINING SUITE

SORRY, I'VE SOLD!

Late 1960s or early 70s seven piece Danish style dining room suite by
an Australian furniture manufacturer - Framac.
The style looks very 1950s but this company didn't open until 1968
so it has to date to after this date.

Both the table and six chairs are in excellent used condition, especially
considering it has been used on a daily basis since this time.

The chairs are of timber and metal construction with the original
vinyl upholstery which has the odd small mark but nothing serious.
The metal frames of some of the chairs have a little surface rust which
will come off with a bit of oil and fine steel wool or if you really
want to bring it back to new a nice coat of Pot Belly Black would do a great job.
They are all solid and all still retain their little round 'feet'.
If reupholstery is required the seats unscrew from the frames hence
making it a fairly simple job - but the vinyl still looks great.

The table legs are of very interesting bent layered-wood construction and
look like something from the Eames designers or Grant Featherstone.
The table top might have a few faint marks but nothing that stands out
very much and once again a good going over with fine steel wool and Teak Oil
or similar will do wonders for it.
The only real 'fault' with the entire suite is a small knock or indent to the edge trim
at one end but its only small and not serious - just mentioning for accuracy description.

The table measures 95cm wide by 154cm long.
