MANLY ANTIQUE CENTRE

VINTAGE BRASS SHIP'S
ENGINE ROOM TELEGRAPH

This will date to the early 1990s when there was a high amount
of antique reproduction brass items coming into Australia.
Mostly small items like compasses and boxes but also high quality
nautical pieces like miniature divers helmets and these ship's telegraphs
which is basically a ships gear stick.

They weren't cheap items as they are really beautifully crafted and are full brass.

It makes a loud dinging noise when you change the dial just like you hear in the old
shipping disaster movies when theyíre in trouble and have to change speed or course.

It has holes in the base as they were mounted of course in the ships
engine room so this one could be mounted too if you like.

Even though itís a reproduction they don't show up that often anymore
and so itís nice to be able to offer one for sale.

It stands 39cm high.

SORRY,
I'VE SOLD!
