MANLY ANTIQUE CENTRE

PAIR OF LARGE MARY GREGORY VASES

This lovely pair of Mary Gregory cranberry glass
vases are a rare delight.

They are part of a collection of Victorian glass
that we have recently purchased.
A collection that was formed over 30 years and the
last piece was bought about 20 years ago.

These vases are in excellent condition with no
problems to report.
They stand 23cm high (9 inches) and
are a true pair.

The painted decoration is of a boy and girl
both holding birds and facing each other
as a true pair of vases should.
The vases are beautifully fluted around the
top and have 'ribbing' through the body.

They will date to the late Victorian period and
are most likely European in origin rather than American.

They are pretty as a picture and will be a stunning
addition to anyone's Mary Gregory glass collection
or a heck of a way to start a new one.
