Made by Bretby in the early 20th Century these delightful pair of
Bretby wall plaques measure 21cm x 27cm
One is in good condition with some small paint flakes scattered
around but nothing too serious
The other has been restored after being dropped, we presume
These plaques have an embossed design and have then been hand painted
The Art Nouveau style ‘frames’ are actually part of the pottery plaques
and add an air of distinction
Obviously Dutch scenes with the young boys and girls in their clogs
with the obligatory windmills in the background.
